Barbara, Yesika, and I attended Mart and Craig's show at the Elysian Café in Hoboken last night. The joint was a lot more packed than I'd expected, but then it was Friday night in Hoboken. The three of us eventually got a table, right up in front of the performers. The food, particularly the garlic fries, was quite good! And Mr. Rivas and his associate played some most excellent music, including a medley that featured both the Romantics' "What I Like About You" and the Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop." What's not to like? Heh-heh... Of course, Martin didn't recognize me at first.  lol  He did a double-take after Barbara pointed out that he should've known me, and then exclaimed, "Andy!"

I've caught a lot of Dayglow shows this year, but I really need to see Mart in the City more often, too, even if he's not a nubile young woman. Probably won't do it until after the holidays, but if anyone is interested in going to Slane on a Tuesday night, let me know! It's a cozy little pub, and the guys put on a great show.
